It's a rare event, but we actually had some snow accumulation in Georgia for the first time in Austin's life and he LOVED it!! It was so pretty coming down; we had a fire burning all day and it was such fun! It is supposed to be down to 20 degrees overnight tonight, so I guess it's not going anywhere until it warms up again - - - a good excuse to just hang out with the family!!

OK.....Here goes my first official blog too! Now I can hold my head high when people start talking about blogging. I guess it's time to catch up with the times, after all!
I am SOOOO excited about Kai! I went to Perimeter Mall yesterday and saw the most adorable shoes and hats for little girls. I can't wait to buy things like that for my first little neice.
My first prayer each morning will be that someone in the Vietnam orphanage will pay special attention to Kai each day and show her extra love and affection. I'm also hopeful that the process will take less time than the expected 5-6 months.
